Extremely excited and honored to help welcome The CW Network into NASCAR! This entire deal has been a blast to work on. After getting to work with the great people at The CW, it is safe to say that the Xfinity Series is in good hands. You can check out our CW Sports cars this weekend on Sheldon Creed's Toyota GR Supra and on Ty Gibbs' Toyota Camry XSE next Sunday in Watkins Glen. And don't forget to tune in on September 20th for the Food City 300 to see the debut of NASCAR on The CW! https://lnkd.in/eWENKyrZ

A note from Coach Gibbs on David Wilson: "When we entered our partnership with Toyota, Dave Wilson played a key role in the success that we have experienced. "In a partnership that has so many facets to it, we have, over the years, experienced the highs and lows of racing. Dave always had a positive outlook and was willing to spend endless energy in providing what we needed to succeed. "Over these years, many of us at JGR have developed a close relationship with Dave and we all wish the best for him and his family. "We’re so fortunate to have Tyler assuming Dave’s role. It gives us great confidence as our partnership moves forward with Tyler leading the team at TRD." #TeamToyota
After 35 years at Toyota Racing Development and 11 years as president, David Wilson has announced his retirement in December 2024. General Manager Tyler Gibbs will succeed Wilson as president of TRD. “It’s been such an honor to be a member of this team and work alongside so many dedicated, talented and passionate men and women,” said Wilson. “I’m humbled and grateful for the trust, support and friendship afforded me throughout my career by my colleagues at TMNA, the Toyota Motor Corporation, our industry and team partners and our athletes. But now, I’ve completed my lap and I’m proud to hand the keys over to my friend and ‘brother in arms’, Tyler Gibbs.” Congratulations David on a successful career, and your continued leadership and dedication to TRD over the past 35 years. 📰: https://lnkd.in/eNcpG2U3
