It was an honor and privilege to be included in Part II of the Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop and Policy Tabletop Discussion along side Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. We look forward to continued discussions on this vital mission set. Assuring the availability, integrity, and resilience of critical infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific region directly contributes to our ability to secure, operate, and defend the DODIN.
As we conclude the final day of our 5-day Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop and Policy Tabletop Discussion, we reflect back on importance of improving relationships with key stakeholders operating in region who have a vested interest in defending Critical Infrastructure from cyber espionage and attacks. Our goal was to foster cooperation with allies and partners to improve cyber resiliency in a high-paced multi-national crisis; Explore advantages and limitations of policies, laws, and authorities, relevant to cybersecurity; and strengthen trust amongst the cybersecurity community by sharing best practices and experiences.

We were honored to be part of today’s dialogue at the Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop cohosted by Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment's Cyber Warfare Directorate and #USINDOPACOM. Drawing on lessons learned from critical infrastructure exercises in the European theater, we facilitated break out discussions on laws, regulations, and policies regarding critical infrastructure cybersecurity protection during pre and active conflict.
Joint Force Headquarters - Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN) took center stage during day 4 of the Indo-Pacific Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Workshop. We are pleased to include in our fall workshop the command responsible for leading unit of action for the security, operations, and defense of the Department of Defense Information network. JFHQ-DODIN used smaller break-out sessions to enhance conversations about the advantages and limitations of international cooperation while focusing on the challenging strategic and legal cyberspace issues that must be considered before a cyber crisis is upon us.
