Leckrone’s extraordinary 50-year career and the evolution of the UW-Madison’s renowned band program are captured in this must-read book. On December 11, the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association hosted a packed audience, eager to delve into the incredible journey of Mike Leckrone and the university’s bands, which he transformed into the celebrated institutions we cherish today.
