Creating positive change in Michigan since 1924.
About us
The Michigan Junior Chamber is part of an international network of people between the ages of 18 and 40 on a mission to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. JCI Michigan works to give its members the tools they need to become more successful and engaged in their hometowns, in four primary areas—business development, individual development, community involvement, and international connections. We take pride in our global community and are dedicated to leading the positive change needed throughout our great state of Michigan. We provide our members with the opportunities to learn new skills and become the leaders of tomorrow by creating lasting impact and fulfilling the needs of our communities today.

Did you miss LOTS this year and keep hearing about "The Book"? We're excited to announce that the Handbook is now available on the website, accessible to all members to aid in planning for the future, and answers all the questions (ok, we admit there is likely to be something missing ;)) Feel free to share it out with your chapters, and even link to it on your webpages. Various sections are separate documents to limit scroll fatigue. We also have to give a shout out to Jocelyn Moellering who did the hard part in 2020 of creating this "clickable format". We just borrowed the format and enhanced it for current needs. (Back to the reminder that many processes and events have been started and it's okay to not re-invent the wheel every time - we have 100 years of history to glean from!) As always, if you see something incorrect, something missing, or something you wish was available, feel free to communicate that to us! This book is a living document to help serve the needs of our members. --- Rember to Spark your Legacy, 101st President Kayleigh Gratz & 2025 Chief of Staff Jessica Anderson This link will take you to JCIMI.org ->Member Resources ->Document Library ->Handbook ->Interactive-Table-Of-Contents-2025-Handbook https://lnkd.in/erPbUeWQ

Listen as members of JCI Michigan discuss their approaches and experiences with recruiting diverse members to their local chapters and other nonprofit organizations. https://lnkd.in/egGFGmkF As you listen to the conversation, you're invited to consider the term "diversity" broadly and think about at least one small way you can be more intentional about meeting people where they are.
