Safety is one of our company values and is essential to our culture. We are excited to announce that J.B. Hunt officially has 5,000 drivers in our Million Mile program! These milestones highlight our safety-focused attitude and wouldn’t be possible without our drivers! “Our Million Mile drivers represent the epitome of who we want all of our drivers to be,” said Nick Hobbs, Chief Operating Officer and President of Highway and Final Mile Services. “It’s their unwavering commitment to be the very best at what they do that makes this accomplishment so special. We couldn’t do what we do without them.”

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are an important piece of fostering a culture of belonging at J.B. Hunt. We are excited to announce the addition of our seventh ERG: ABLE – Abilities Beyond Limits and Expectations. ABLE aims to support and empower individuals with visible and invisible disabilities, as well as caregivers and advocates, while emphasizing the importance of mental wellbeing. We remain committed to creating a culture where all feel welcomed, valued, respected, safe and heard, and our ERGs play a vital role in this.

The Department of Defense SkillBridge program helps active-duty military transition into their civilian careers. We know the skills learned during military service are valuable and are proud to have hired 133 SkillBridge participants since 2020. Kevin served in the Army for seven years and was one of the first SkillBridge participants at J.B. Hunt. As an operations manager, he then had the opportunity to have Anthony, another SkillBridge participant, join his team. Anthony served in the Army for 11 years and was excited to hear that his new manager had also gone through SkillBridge. "Since Kevin was once a SkillBridge intern such as myself, he understood that I was still a soldier and the military would need me back on base to knock out some training or get some tasks done," said Anthony. We're grateful for all the men and women who serve our country and are proud to support our military through programs like SkillBridge.

Today was a memorable day. It is an honor to be a part of Wreaths Across America. Claude, a J.B. Hunt driver and military veteran said, “Wreaths Across America is bigger than any one person and I’m glad to even be just a small part of that. Hauling these wreaths has been the highlight of my driving career.” Thank you to everyone who volunteered nationwide to honor our military veterans.

This morning, we held our annual Wreaths Across America ceremony. The event featured a key exchange between Claude, a J.B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services driver and Navy Veteran and Dustin, a J.B. Hunt Dedicated Contract Services driver and Marine Corps Veteran. Dustin will deliver the wreaths to Fayetteville National Cemetery tomorrow where they will be placed in remembrance of those who served.
