The year was 2021. I was the only product manager on a massive enterprise project. This wasn’t just a feature launch—it was the entire product universe. Organization dashboards. Staff portals. billing Tier management. Registration tech, Landing page builders. Email campaigns. Networking suites. Exhibitor booths & dashboards. Chat, Gamification leaderboards. Every piece, every function. A mammoth undertaking. Now, imagine this: one PM, one QA. We were stretched thin. I was juggling strategy, innovation, and daily operations. Then the QA guy reached out. He was struggling to keep up with issue tracking. A long, year-long project with scarce resources for an experiment meant one thing: We had to think out of the box. I remember hours of searching, deliberating, and comparing tools. And then I stumbled on Jam.dev Jam.dev (And no, this isn’t a paid post.) What does Jam do? It captures screen recordings, system logs, and step-by-step bug reproduction processes. Automatically. Within days, our QA had a favorite tool. It streamlined communication, reduced friction, and helped us move. Bugs were tracked. Issues were communicated. Development speed picked up. Why did Jam work? AI-generated bug summaries saved time. Screen recordings with browser console logs eliminated confusion. Integration with existing tools kept everything seamless. Our scarce team didn’t need more resources; we needed smarter processes. Tools like Jam can transform workflows. They bridge gaps and help small teams punch above their weight. If you’re managing a big project with limited resources, don’t underestimate tools that help do 2x heavy lifting. Because sometimes, the right tool isn’t just a fix. It’s the leverage your team needs to scale. What tools have saved you time or sanity on a tough project? I’d love to know.
