The 2024 National Rare Disease Summit will be held later this week in Brisbane, thanks to @RareVoicesAustralia. Held every 2 years, this year's theme is "Progress Beyond Policy," and brings together key stakeholders within the rare disease community as we discuss the implementation of the Australian Government's National Strategic Action Plan for Rare Diseases. The Action Plan's vision is to deliver 'the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for Australians living with a rare disease.
