This is a spot on encapsulation of where #AI is heading in 2025. If you’re trying to “skate to where the puck is going” , then skate this direction. If you believe an #AI bubble popped, here’s why you’re going to be very surprised very soon. Admittedly I thought all three of these would be achieved in 2024, but at tue very least the initial stages are already in place: Gemini: 2M token windows Function Calling App Intents Rise for Agentic reasoning It’s coming, start skating.

A nice surprise hit the inbox today. Our team was awarded a fairly prestigious recognition based on our work on a product content management tool to create something unique within the company to better enable content owners within 3M to actually own and manage their content. The last 18 months or so have been especially fun as we've not only incorporated new features that are gen AI-enabled, but we've seen our stakeholders drastically accelerate aspects of their content creation processes. The cool thing is that there is so much more to come. I take a lot of pride in this project for numerous reasons, with the most significant being its truly cross-functional nature. It was a collective endeavor, with each team contributing unique strengths and areas of focus, while consistently coming together to drive continuous improvement. I'd like to recognize Matt T. for his vision. You have a gift for applying technology to problems and new ideas. Joseph T. Parsons, you're a brilliant architect who continues to challenge us with new (and better) ideas and deliver great solutions. Justin Kaczmar, you have put blood, sweat and tears into this project - not to mention your nights and weekends. Your passion for design is incredible and I know how much love you put into your work. Amy Hessler, you have been an amazing partner. You have adeptly led a change management exercise within your business group, challenged us for new approaches, and achieved tremendous success on behalf of your team by adding value with new processes. Paul Cardno, your leadership, guidance, and partnership cannot be overstated. Your approach to your work is legitimately inspiring to me and I really admire you. Ethan Shoshin, you've been with us since the beginning and your guidance and support have made a huge impact on both the project and the team. We wouldn't have gotten to this point without you. Cris Ippolite, thanks to your consult and your partnership. You and Ethan have been great partners. Jeffrey Berg and Chuck Stobbie, you both gave me tremendous opportunities and armed me with your trust and confidence. I appreciate you.

Way to go 3M PCM team 🎉 David Bonk this is amazing. Really proud of all of you and tip my hat iSolutions’ Ethan Shoshin for making it all happen on the iSolutions side. I’m personally thrilled to have been able to see PCM’s #AI features go from “wouldn’t it be cool if…” to actually deployed features. Thanks for trusting us with your genAI project and Matt T. for giving us this shot. Can’t wait to see whats next

In this video episode, Matt Navarre and Cris Ippolite discuss “Prompt Templates” and how to construct them to provide your #AI models with the most instruction around WHO is requesting a response when making an APi call to large language model. They break down all of the “behind the scenes” data that gets sent as payload when making API calls to LLMs: User Personas, Guardrails, Constraints, Context and more. Many believe communicating with these models is just about asking questions and getting answers. This discussion peels back the curtain on methods for controlling truth and accuracy in your model responses and establishes a core foundation for integrating your proprietary data safely into language model API integrations. https://lnkd.in/gifBcY28
