Did you know that we have 7 seconds 🕑to make the first impression? If you recall from your memories a beautifully dressed person he or she is never harsh, but you feel a strong aura, a strong sense of inner strength, attention to details and some sense of control but ease as well... somehow everything falls into place and he or she is "the total package". The same is true for any written mark you leave behind yourself in the online space, be it your CV, your LinkedIn profile or anything else. https://lnkd.in/d5Dik_fD #FirstImpression #Etiquette #PersonalBranding

🤚Why not to use copy-paste ChatGPT outputs? #AI #Creatvity #ChatGPT
The latest Apple ad. An email full of personality turned into a generic load of crap. In a world full of AI content, personality is one of the last things we have. Lean into it instead of contributing to the growing mountain of garbage.

Why is it 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 into your own 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱? Sir John Hegarthy defined brand as 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱....and he is so right.... and based on the below 𝗶𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲. Most people think that this is some sort of "nonsense"... and it is not worth investing into it, only maybe sales based perfomrance advertising while in their own presonal choices: 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗿, 𝗲𝘁𝗰 they keep making brand based decisions.... 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲, 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿! :-) What are your favourite brands? #PersonalBranding #BrandIdentity #BusinessBranding
#Brand! It's what people say when you're not there (thanks, Jeff Bezos). Your brand is your most efficient salesperson—it keeps working even when you're offline. And when you harness the internet’s scale, it becomes a force multiplier. This data visualization dives into how top brands achieve that. Interbrand ranks brands based on three key factors: financial performance, influence on buying decisions, and brand strength. Curious to hear your thoughts! Credit: James Eagle

#Jobsearch 😱nightmare LinkedIn stories 🚦 I know that everybody says that when you are in the middle of your already "nightmarish" job search journey you need to go out there and start communicating, and posting on LinkedIn, etc ....lately I have seen many people share their job search experience on LinkedIn and not in a good way. Some understand that this is an opportunity, some does not, and create a negative aura around themselves (looking miserable, angry, lacking self-control) and therefore do more harm than good. I understand that this is heart wrenching💔 and horrible, when we feel that we or our efforts are not appreciated, we are gaslighted without feedback, etc, but I suggest stopping for a second and stop using LinkedIn as venting platform or at least we should to try end these post on a constructive positive👍 note. These posts usually get a lot of attention and reaction, sympathy, but I am not sure it will help the person with his/her original job search mission. I looked at a couple of profiles behind these posts and there was a lot to improve in them: profile not filled out, if yes, very poorly or not in a way, and not with the type of content that would support the the person's image or goal+ not to mention these venting posts. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘴𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨: - 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧: as we agreed with another marketing professional, look at yourself 𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 and start with a little bit of housekeeping🧹 on your side as well - 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘥𝘐𝘯: anything we do here is about 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱, including every dot or comma we write down.... - if you decide that you go for it, frame it extremely well. This is indeed communication☎️ with the outer world🌎, as per the original advice, but it does not necessarily serve your image or your purpose (sure, some might have gotten a job offer or a couple of good pieces of advice out of it, but I have seen these posts repeatedly appearing in certain profiles as well). Thinking of branding.... , is this how your favourite product brand behaves in your Facebook, Instagram, etc feed when they report weak sales figures? I assume not, because otherwise you would quickly come to the conclusion that "we are not amused" ( quoting Queen Elizabeth II👑 as I once used to live in the UK) and you would unfollow them immediately. Communication should be intentional, so that other people understand us "well".... If you think you need help with the above, I am happy to help you so that you can send the message/project the image to the world that is in line with your skills and goals and attract positive attention. Good luck and lots of strength for your job search! Illustration by Costas K. G. #PersonalBrand #LinkedIn #Jobsearch
