We had a lovely time at our styling vendor fair and Holiday get-together last week. Not only did we get to connect with vendors and coworkers, we got to do a little holiday shopping! Denvir Enterprises, Blu Dot, JAK W, SLATE Art Consulting, and our Embarcadero neighbor Acacia brought us all kinds of goodies to peruse, from lush linen throw blankets, to candles, ceramics, lighting, and trinkets of all kinds. Our annual Holidays with Heart event was a blast! NorCal Insiders packed care packages for St. Mary's Center, a nonprofit supporting housing security, basic needs, and social connection for seniors and preschool families in Oakland. Packages included food, clothing, and toiletries.   We kicked off the day with bagels, donuts, and espresso from Global Furniture Group, enjoyed amazing BBQ from The Art of BBQ (that mac & cheese!), and wrapped it up with delicious ube desserts from Marley’s Streats.   To thank our incredible Insiders, we raffled off Normann Copenhagen stools, a custom Timbuktu backpack from Exemplis LLC, a golf round for four at Berkeley Country Club, gift certificates to Design Public Group, and more.   A huge thank you to St. Mary’s for coming and sharing the impact of your work, it was truly inspiring. Thank you to all the Insiders who joined us last week for our Eco Art Mixer at the San Francisco showroom. Sponsored by the Green Team, this event invited employees to bring old magazines, wrapping paper scraps, and other repurposed materials to craft whimsical, one-of-a-kind creations. It was amazing to see the range of creativity on display, from intricate collages to holiday cards, while some of us just enjoyed flipping through nostalgic magazines. The mixer was a refreshing way to take a break, let our creativity flow, and connect with each other in a relaxed, inspiring setting. Here's to sustainable art and great company! ♻️ 🎨
