Cordell helps startups and enterprises cut through the AI hype to find real solutions. The session will be held on Dec 18. Deadline: Dec 17 2. Applications for the Spring 2025 "Tech for Good Programme" are now open. Successful ventures will get £60,000 investment (for 7% equity) as well as support from the Bethnal Green Ventures team and community. Deadline: Jan 5 3. Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and Seeding The Future Foundation launched a #food innovation challenge with funding for transformative solutions in nutrition, sustainability, and accessibility. Open to scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, NGOs, universities, and small enterprises worldwide developing scalable food system innovations. Deadline: Jan 6 4. The UK's Department of Science, Innovation and Technology is calling on cutting-edge innovators to enter the second #Manchester #Prize. This year, the Manchester Prize is rewarding UK-led breakthroughs in AI that will accelerate action towards the UK’s world-leading target to decarbonise the electricity grid to deliver green power by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. Ten promising solutions will receive £100k funding and £60k compute credits to compete for £1M grand prize in 2026. Applications on a rolling basis. 5. RURACTIVE launches a two-stage program for European startups and SMEs developing rural innovations. First stage: 36 projects receive €5K and mentoring.
