Recent incidents in the Sequoia Union High School District (SUHSD) – swastikas, slurs, and biased curricula – demonstrate the urgent need for reform. Jewish families in SUHSD have filed a federal lawsuit, demanding accountability and systemic change to ensure student safety. This case is not isolated. Even in progressive areas like Menlo Park and Redwood City, antisemitism persists. SUHSD serves communities represented by Senator Josh Becker, a member of the Legislative Jewish Caucus, yet these issues were not addressed. We must act now to protect students and promote inclusivity.
