STORYTIME! 📖 Some people wonder why I bang the drum so much about effectively training and testing your AI chatbots. 🤖 Due to water damage in our house, I need new flooring. 🏠 Yesterday, I clicked on an ad in social for a flooring company. The ad sent me to a sales chatbot. 🤖 The chatbot spoke to me in Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. There are no posts in my socials in Spanish. 🤔 When the bot asked for my phone number, I asked it to use "English please." The bot asked, "is 'English please' the correct phone number? If not please provide it." 🤷♀️ Folks, it is imperative to properly train and test your AI! This tech can be an incredible sales tool for you, but only when it has access to the right RAG and is trained to handle a wide variety of conversations, especially in the customer's language.
