  • We're the "$4.50 per GPU/hour for AMD #MI300x" company listed on the side of the "No BS" van. Some look at our pricing and say, “That’s insane, nobody will pay it.” But they’re missing the bigger picture. The industry has settled on a simple GPU/hour pricing model. It’s straightforward and easy to grasp at a glance. But as the saying goes, “The devil’s in the details.” Today, we’re seeing a race to the bottom in the #NeoCloud market, with providers offering bargain-basement GPU pricing. This feels eerily similar to the early days of Uber and Airbnb - both heavily subsidized by VC dollars chasing market dominance. History is repeating itself. Companies are willing to bleed money for market share today, even though it’s unsustainable long-term. Eventually, many will fold as investors realize the economics don’t add up - especially when corners are cut. We’re taking a different niche-based approach. Call it ambitious - or maybe dumb, who knows, time will tell. We’re building the Ferrari of GPU services in a world of Honda-level options. Here’s what sets us apart: deep partnerships with the best - AMD, Dell Technologies, Broadcom, and Switch. No cut corners. No compromises. * Fact is that this new class of hardware, has a high failure rate and a lot of bugs. We insist on next-business-day professional support for all of our equipment. * We host in world-class secure Tier 5 facilities with reliable connections, powered by renewable energy, far from hurricane or flood zones. * Reliability isn’t just a feature - it’s our foundation. For example, each rack has six PDUs for full redundancy. * We offer white glove, hands on service and support, free of charge. Yes, our short-term, non-reserved pricing is higher; because our costs are higher. But long-term reservations bring those costs down, and ultimately, you get what you pay for. Cutting costs might seem tempting, but when you’re in this industry, the most expensive thing in the world is failure, and the second most expensive? Switching providers. We’re building long-term customer relationships based on reliability. Tesla faced similar skepticism in its early days, critics called their cars too expensive. Over time, increased reliability and economies of scale, proved the doubters wrong. The same will happen here. As our customers see how we operate, prioritizing transparency, sustainability, and performance, they’ll come to understand the value we provide that sets us apart. It’s not just about price; it’s about trust, longevity, and peace of mind. None of this will ever come at a discount. P.S. Demand for our services surged as soon as we went live with Shadeform (YC S23). The thing holding us back was a missing credit card form on our website. Most people would rather not talk to us, though we wish they would! Coming soon: individual gpu/hour rentals... which should really shake things up as people ultimately want to kick the tires on this new class of compute. [email protected]

    CEO @ Shadeform | Multi-Cloud GPUs | Cloud Broker

I had a real tough time deciding whether to put rusted bull s*** on our ads for NeurIPS this year. But you know what, we decided to do it anyways. If you’ve been renting cloud GPUs for the past year, you know you’ve been wading through a lot of it.. quotas, inventory that’s not there, providers filling inventory through unreliable third parties, and a whole lot more. That’s why we’re leaning into this message. Don’t deal with an opaque process where you don’t know who your end cloud is nor the reliability of what you’re getting. We’ll help you find high quality providers in an easy, simple to use platform with transparent benchmarks and data.

LinkedIn's Engineering blog on Liger Kernel is now live!! https://lnkd.in/gA5Hp_bt Since its initial release in August 2024, Liger-Kernel has grown rapidly across the community, accumulating 3,500+ stars and 350k+ downloads. We have integrated with mainstream training frameworks, including Axolotl, LLaMA-Factory, SFTTrainer, Hugging Face Trainer, SWIFT, and supported distributed training frameworks such as PyTorch FSDP and Microsoft DeepSpeed. We especially thank our amazing partners Hugging Face, Lightning AI, Microsoft, Facebook, AMD, Intel Corporation, Embedded LLM, Hot Aisle Inc., Union.ai, Anyscale and Modal for their continued support of the project. Fun fact: The original plan was to publicly release in December, having open-sourced in August to gradually gain traction and feedback. However, the repo went viral on LinkedIn and X and is already loved by numerous LLM developers.
