Say hello to Cody Parker, High Steel’s fall semester engineering intern. Cody is a Mechanical Engineering major at the Rochester Institute of Technology. During his time at High Steel, Cody got hands-on experience with our Quality Control and Engineering departments. After training in welding and safety, he took on QC projects involving training, audits, and machine calibration, while in Engineering, he jumped into calculating load rating analysis, performing engineering calculations, and visited jobsites to evaluate site conditions. High Steel recently welcomed twenty-three engineering design technology students from Pennsylvania College of Technology to our Williamsport facility to learn about the company’s structural fabrication and design processes.
