Hesai lidars are certified as data secure by both TÜV Rheinland Europe and DEKRA, two independent, industry-leading, third-party technical testing bodies. But what does "data secure" really mean? 🔒Hesai lidars cannot store or wirelessly transmit point cloud images, the 3D pictures that lidars generate of the environment around a vehicle. 🔒Hesai lidars transmit the point cloud images to a vehicle’s onboard computer via one-way secure cable transmission, ensuring data cannot be accessed outside of the vehicles in which they operate, which the two assessment reports confirmed. 🔒The point cloud data is owned, stored and controlled by a vehicle’s manufacturer and owner, not by Hesai. #DataSecurity #innovation #TUVCertified #DekraCertified #lidar Read more about Hesai lidar cybersecurity here: https://lnkd.in/guUUBUBY

Hesai is pleased to share that we have secured exclusive series production design wins with Great Wall Motor, covering several models across its two brands. These models will feature Hesai’s ATX, an ultra-compact high-resolution long-range lidar, scheduled for mass production starting in 2025. Over the next two years, additional Great Wall Motor models will integrate Hesai lidar, accelerating the adoption of NOA capabilities and delivering enhanced intelligent mobility solutions. Hesai is proud to announce that we will be the exclusive provider of automotive long-range lidar for Changan Automobile's new intelligent driving platform. The order volume for our ATX compact lidar model, released in April of this year, is expected to exceed 1.5 million units over the next few years. We will provide lidar products for more than 10 vehicle models from multiple Changan Automobile brands, with the platform's first model expected to enter mass production in the second half of 2025. This Thanksgiving, we give thanks for a decade of innovation, growth, and perseverance at Hesai! At our 🔟th anniversary celebration earlier this month, our CEO Yifan Li reflected on the challenges and breakthroughs that have shaped our journey, and he expressed our gratitude to everyone who's been part of our success. Here’s to the milestones we've achieved together: ⚡ From humble beginnings: We produced our first lidars by hand, which took 1 month for every 100 units. ➡️ Today, Hesai operates in-house automated production lines with a million-unit capacity and 100% core process automation, with lidar production taking just 1 hour for every 100 units. 🤖 Innovating every step of the way: In 2014, lidar sensors were expensive and bulky for many applications. ➡️ We are contributing to the rapid and magnificent evolution of autonomous driving and robotics through mass production and commoditization. 📈 Sustainable growth: We shipped 1200+ lidar units total in 2018. ➡️ As of today, we have shipped over 600,000 units cumulatively, and we expect to reach the 1 million units milestone in 2025. Hesai showcased strong double-digit growth of 21% year-on-year to $76.9 million in the third quarter of 2024, up from $63.6 million from the previous year. We also shipped 134,208 ADAS lidar units in the same quarter, marking our second consecutive quarter of nearly 50% sequential growth and an increase of 183% year-on-year.
