Now everyone’s talking about Ai*? Must be the POCUS thing. Not potus or hocus, far from bogus — NorVue helps doctors work WELL. *Ai Phi: Cardiologist, Entrepreneur, Agent of Change.

Our society is moving less and sitting more than ever. We’re glued to our screens, driving everywhere, and spending way too much time on the couch. And it’s showing — health problems like obesity, diabetes, and heart disease are on the rise. 📈 But here’s the thing 👇 Taking care of our bodies doesn’t have to mean hours in the gym. Even 10-20 minutes of movement a day can make a huge difference. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about making progress. A quick walk, some stretches, or even trying to master a pull-up (or working toward one!) all add up. Taking care of our bodies goes beyond exercise, though. It’s also about understanding what’s happening inside. That’s where tools like ultrasound come in. It’s fast, safe, and packed with information that helps us make better decisions about health. That’s why we created NorVue, an online course that empowers health professionals to master ultrasound scanning. With the right skills, they can spot problems early, provide better care, and truly make a difference. Because at the end of the day, isn’t that what we all want? To move more, take charge of our health, and help others do the same. Let’s make taking care of ourselves — and each other — a priority. Join us at NorVue https://www.norvueas.com and be part of this change. Together, we can take patient care to the next level. 🎥 VC: anatomy.of.motion IG #ultrasound #onlinecourse #mentorship #heart #lungs #FAST #dvt #gallbladder #kidney

We all know that drinking enough fluids is important for our health, but when fluid builds up in places inside our body where it shouldn’t — like the heart, lungs, or abdomen — it can cause problems. When this extra fluid collects in the abdomen, it causes swelling, making us feel uncomfortable and bloated. This condition is called ascites. 😷 What Causes Ascites? There are several reasons why fluid might build up in the abdomen. One of the most common causes is liver disease, especially when the liver becomes damaged by conditions like cirrhosis (scarring of the liver). Drinking too much alcohol over time can also lead to liver disease and cirrhosis, which increases the risk of developing ascites. When the liver isn’t working properly, it can cause fluid to leak out of blood vessels and collect in the belly. Other causes of ascites can include heart failure, where the heart struggles to pump blood properly, kidney disease, and sometimes even cancer. 📚 Symptoms of Ascites If we have ascites, we might notice that our belly is getting bigger, feeling heavy, or looking more swollen than usual. We may also feel full or bloated, and sometimes, it can make it harder to breathe because the abdomen presses on our lungs. Some of us may feel pain or discomfort in the belly. And the treatment is... Doctors treat ascites by first figuring out what’s causing it. For example, if it’s due to liver problems, they might focus on improving liver function. They may also remove the extra fluid through a procedure called paracentesis, where a needle is used to drain the fluid. In addition, we may need to make some lifestyle changes, like cutting down on salt, alcohol and taking medications to help our body get rid of the extra fluid. Through NorVue and ultrasound we can already detect ascites and other fluids in the body that should not be there. We need to take care of our bodies. Once we do, we also gain healthier and happier life. 🎥 VC: voka IG #ultrasound #ascites #liver #heartfailure

We all have a heart, and just like any part of our body, it can face challenges from time to time. One rare but serious condition we should know about is cardiac tamponade—a situation where our heart gets squeezed so much that it can’t pump blood effectively. Our heart sits inside a small, protective sack called the pericardium. Normally, there’s a little bit of fluid in there to help things run smoothly. But if too much fluid or blood builds up in that space, it starts to press on the heart—kind of like wearing a jacket that’s way too tight. This pressure makes it hard for the heart to pump blood to the rest of our body, which can leave us feeling tired, short of breath, or even lightheaded. That’s where ultrasound plays a life-saving role. With ultrasound, we can clearly see the fluid around the heart, helping doctors quickly diagnose cardiac tamponade and act fast. The good news? Once it’s identified, it can be treated. A procedure called pericardiocentesis uses a needle to remove the excess fluid, giving our heart the space it needs to beat freely again. At NorVue https://www.norvueas.com we’re passionate about teaching the power of ultrasound. Our online course equips healthcare professionals with the skills to detect conditions like cardiac tamponade early, ensuring the best care for patients when it matters most. Cardiac tamponade reminds us how essential our heart is and why it’s so important to pay attention to the signals our body sends. #ultrasound #heart #echocardiogram #tamponade #lungs

Now everyone’s talking about Ai*? Must be the POCUS thing. Not potus or hocus, far from bogus — NorVue helps doctors work WELL. *Ai Phi: Cardiologist, Entrepreneur, Agent of Change.

We all have hands that help us do the most ordinary and extraordinary things every single day. We use them to grab our morning cup of coffee, hold a pencil, tie our shoes, or give someone a high-five. Our hands are incredible. Each hand has 27 bones, along with a network of muscles, tendons, and ligaments that let us do everything from clenching a fist to picking up a tiny thread. And then there’s the nerves—so sensitive they can tell the difference between a smooth piece of glass and a rough pebble in an instant. But it’s not just about what hands can feel. Think of everything they do: paint, play music, fix things, or simply hold someone else’s hand. And in medicine, hands are essential for something extraordinary—ultrasound. Without the precision and control of our hands, it would be impossible to guide an ultrasound probe to visualize the heart, lungs, or other organs and make life-saving diagnoses. What’s amazing is how naturally it all works together. We don’t even have to think about it—our brain and hands are constantly in sync, letting us care for others, solve problems, or create something new. Curious to see how hands and ultrasound can work together to take patient care to the next level? We all carry the ultimate powerhouse in us — it is our brain! It’s like the command center for everything we do — whether we’re solving a problem, sharing a laugh, or even just breathing. And it works around the clock without us even thinking about it. 💡 What does it do? 🥷 It helps us learn and grow, like when we pick up a new skill or figure something out. 💊 It manages our emotions, from excitement and joy to worry and calm. 💘 It runs our body, making sure our heart beats, our lungs breathe, and we can move around. 💌 And it powers our imagination, letting us dream, create, and come up with new ideas. Our brain is made up of billions of nerve cells called neurons, which are like tiny messengers. They’re constantly sending signals, helping us react to the world in the blink of an eye. ✨ Here’s the coolest part: Our brain can keep changing and growing no matter how old we are. Every time we try something new or step outside our comfort zone, we’re building new connections in our brain. It’s like giving it a little workout! But just like anything important, our brain needs us to take care of it. That means: 🏃♀️ Staying active to get the blood flowing 🥦 Eating healthy foods like nuts, fish, and greens 💤 Getting enough sleep so it can recharge 🎨 Trying new things to keep it sharp Learning skills like ultrasound transforms uncertainty into answers and doubt into action. It’s not just about gaining knowledge — it’s about building confidence, solving problems, and making a real difference in patient care. That’s exactly what NorVue https://www.norvueas.com is all about. From the lungs and heart to the abdomen, they’re helping us master POCUS, feel more confident in our clinical decisions, and truly make a difference at the bedside — because every new skill we learn isn’t just good for our practice; it’s a workout for our brain, keeping us sharp, adaptable, and ready for what’s next. 💭 Let’s take a second to appreciate this amazing part of us. Our brain isn’t just a control center—it’s what makes us us. #ultrasound #onlinecourse #draiphi #norvue #smartbrain 🎥 VC: sciepro. official IG

Pregnancy is like witnessing a miracle unfold right before our eyes. From the outside, it’s about the growing belly, the excitement of baby kicks, and maybe some peculiar cravings. But on the inside, it’s a whole different story—a fascinating, intricate world where life is taking shape. How does it actually look like? Imagine this tiny, cozy world where a baby is forming, cell by cell. In the early weeks, it's all about building the foundation—the brain, heart, and spine are starting to take shape. By around 8 weeks, that little one is already moving, and we can even feel those first flutters. As the months go by, it’s like a constant transformation. The baby stretches, kicks, and even hiccups. They practice “breathing” in amniotic fluid, and by the third trimester, they can even recognize voices—those little chats or lullabies really do make a difference! Meanwhile, the placenta is working overtime like a superhero, making sure the baby gets the nutrients and oxygen it needs, while also filtering out waste. And, of course, the uterus is stretching to make room for the growing baby, which also explains the occasional heartburn or shortness of breath. Now, this is where ultrasound becomes such a powerful tool. It’s not just about getting a peek at the baby—it’s about ensuring everything is going as it should. Just the other day, one of us wasn’t sure if the baby was in the right position. We used ultrasound and discovered the baby was in a breech position. Thankfully, we caught it early, and the mom was referred to the hospital, where they successfully helped move the baby into the correct position. Without that ultrasound, the birth could have been much more complicated. That’s the magic of point-of-care ultrasound! It helps us answer questions and clear up any doubts in real time, making sure everything’s heading in the right direction. At NorVue, we’re passionate about helping others learn how to use ultrasound so we can all provide the best care possible, whether it’s making sure a baby is in the right position or simply tracking their growth. Ultrasound truly makes a difference! Please check out https://www.norvueas.com for more information.
