As the holiday season gets busier, our CEO, Jaime White, would like to share a few tips on managing stress during this emotionally charged time of year: "While the holidays are a season of giving, it is easy to get overwhelmed and run down if we don't take care of ourselves and tend to our mental health. Keeping a regular schedule may be difficult with additional holiday events but try to keep a somewhat normal sleep and eating schedule, fit in short bursts of exercise, and take advantage of the quiet moments you do have to practice mindfulness and gratitude. In addition, set realistic expectations for yourself and your family. Focus on meaningful connections and making memories, instead of ideal outcomes." Remember to take care of yourself and enjoy the season in ways that bring you peace and joy!
