🚨 NEW: Corporate Communications Leaders Embrace AI Despite Misinformation and Corporate Reputation Concerns: The 4th Annual Ragan Communications and PR Daily and HarrisX - a Stagwell Inc. company Study reveals insights from 437 CEOs and comms leaders on how communications is evolving to meet the challenges of AI, corporate activism, and brand safety head-on. Here are some highlights: AI Adoption: 4 in 5 communications leaders view AI favorably, with 71% seeing its positive impact on processes like writing, brainstorming, and editing. However, concerns about AI-driven misinformation and its effects on corporate reputation are significant. Trust Shifts: Chief Communications Officers are now the most trusted to manage corporate narratives, while trust in CEOs leading DE&I communications has dipped. DE&I and ESG: These remain critical, though DE&I has seen a slight decline in priority compared to previous years. Brand Safety: A split exists—58% of CEOs feel it’s overapplied, while non-CEO leaders lean the opposite way. As Dritan Nesho, CEO of HarrisX, notes: “Corporate leaders are facing fast-changing technology, social, and business norms all at once, requiring them to be prepared ahead of when crises and opportunities land.” Diane Schwartz, CEO of Ragan Communications, adds: “It’s an exciting time to be a communicator and a critical inflection point for communications to lead the way as guardians of reputation.” Curious to learn more?
