Happy Friday! Unfortunately, the saga of #MTY containers continues its slow creep northward at the Port of Los Angeles...8% below since they started tracking on Nov 15th 2021….not quite the total clusterfudge that was early Dec 2021 of 90,397 (ahhh the memories)….regardless…lately, the number is trending up…⬆️ While this chart doesn't include the Port of Long Beach, surely their numbers are similar. So, likely there are over 120K empty contianers awaiting evacuation in the complex. While this is not a new phenomenon, and yes there are a certain amount of #MTYS that are needed “on terminal”, and yes, it is a fluid game, still, the effects are felt in #Drayage yards on top of #Chassis across #SoCal. The LAST thing #Drayage companies want to be sitting on are #MTY boxes that have no return locations...(I’ll spare the problematic #EPs in this post…lol) Either way, happy to expand on the challenges for anyone who is remotely interested or maybe knows something I do not. #PerDiem #Detention #AB2406 https://lnkd.in/gkcHaVyT
