With over 25 years at Grant Thornton LLP and 17 years as an Audit Partner, she has conducted financial statement audits, program-specific audits, and single audits for a wide range of organizations including trade associations, social service groups, foundations, religious organizations, and higher education institutions in the Greater Washington DC area.   Lisa’s extensive background includes working with large, international, multi-structured organizations, demonstrating a remarkable track record of client service. Beyond her audit expertise, Lisa understands the importance of being a business advisor to her clients. She offers insights and recommendations, helping them navigate compliance and regulatory challenges so they can remain mission-focused.   Her commitment to the Not-for-Profit community extends beyond her professional role. Han Group is thrilled to welcome back Senior Manager, Carlos F. Colón, to the firm. Carlos brings over 23 years of experience in public and private accounting. In 2013, he joined Han Group, making his entry into not-for-profit accounting. Over the next four years, Carlos made significant contributions to not-for-profit organizations, establishing himself as a trusted partner for his audit and tax clients. Carlos then went on to serve as the Director of Financial Reporting at American University and later as the head of finance and operations for a not-for-profit organization based in Virginia. Carlos brings a wealth of knowledge, including accounting standards expertise, how to adopt and implement best business practices, and how to integrate systems and procedures to achieve efficiencies and consistently, high-quality deliverables.
