Unlocking Trapped Real Estate Value in the Heart of Los Angeles! In 2021, Gunnar Energy Services took on a groundbreaking project right in the heart of Los Angeles, specifically in Boyle Heights. Our innovative technology and services played a pivotal role in transforming previously unusable land into a prime development opportunity. The site is now well on its way to be developed into much needed affordable housing. 🛢️ Plugging the Old Oil Well: The key challenge we addressed was the presence of an old oil well on the site. This old well poised health and environmental hazards. By leveraging our cutting-edge technology, we successfully plugged the well, mitigating environmental risks and setting the stage for transformative possibilities. 📜 Certifications from CalGEM: Our successful services led us to obtain the necessary certifications from the California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) of the California Department of Conservation. These certifications were required to gaining approval for the development of the site. 🌳 From Dormant to Flourishing: The once dormant land in Boyle Heights is now poised for vibrant development, unlocking significant real estate value in a bustling part of Los Angeles. Developers who previously had overlooked this site and others all across Lost Angeles are now able to bring much needed housing developments across the city.
