Mark Kuijpers, Senior Managing Director, Central Europe, was awarded Real Estate Person of the Year at Vastgoedmarkt's annual property dinner last night.    Mark was given the prestigious award for his significant contribution to addressing the (affordable) housing shortage in the Netherlands.    Karin Laglas, Jury Chairwoman, said: "Where others saw obstacles, he saw opportunities. Neither regulations nor interest rates deterred him from steadfastly continuing to build."   Mark said: "I feel incredibly honoured to receive this award, especially given the brilliant people (Martine Gründemann and Bas Van Veggel) who were also nominated. I see this as an industry recognition of what Greystar has achieved in the past years in The Netherlands. I'm incredibly grateful to have a great team working alongside me at Greystar in The Netherlands and for the support of my international colleagues and our partners around the world, without whom it would have been impossible to do what we do and will keep doing to create great places for people to live. A big thank you to the jury, Vastgoedmarkt, and to everyone who has supported me in my career.”   Having been at Greystar for over seven years, Mark has been instrumental in our expansion across Europe, and this award is testament to his impact on the company and the wider industry.    #GreystarEurope #award #property #Vastgoedmarkt
