  • That's right! We are among the top 3 Cured Meats. We are thrilled to make this year's list of Best Artisinal Flavors with our plant-based product (Vegami™) in the category traditionally dominated by animal-based products.

Another plant-based product scores high against its meat counterparts. While we quietly worked in the background on bringing Vegami to mass distribution, we were caught off guard and almost missed a huge win! We know that bragging about your wins on LinkedIn is becoming less popular. However, this is not only a win for us. Green Wolf Foods Vegami™ was awarded second place in this year's list of the best flavors by the International Flavor Awards in the CuredMeat/MeatJerkey category. We are beyond excited! It is especially exciting that Vegami™ was competing with traditional meat-based products. This is a huge win for Green Wolf Foods and, more importantly, for the growing plant-based CPG category and animals. Please share this exciting news with your friends. Let's spread the word about this Vegan product win. https://lnkd.in/gj47RzsF #VeganProducts #VaganDeli #VeganSalami #BestVegan #PlanBasedColdCuts #BestVeganMeat

  • Interesting news from Beyond Meat We are eager to try it and to see the list of ingredients. As someone who focuses on building clean-ingredients, health-oriented good-for-you type of plant-based Deli product, that was recognized by TIME as one of the best inventions of 2023, we wholeheartedly support the move toward more whole-food-based products. “ Not fake meat. Real plants” is the main idea behind our products. At Green Wolf Foods we are bringing plants back into plant-based. Solving our own probles as a vegan consumers and trying to address the criticism that we had of many products in the plan-based meat category drove us to create Vagimi, a plan- based salami, that has a clean list of ingredients, no saturated fat, no trans fats, no sugar, cholesterol, emulsifiers or any artificial additives or preservatives, and has better nutrition than a protein bar or turkey breast with 15 g of protein, from wheat and real veggies per 100 calories. 💪💚 What Beyond is doing is realizing and catching up to consumer demand. 👏👌

A bit of a surprise from Beyond Meat today. After months of doubling down on making its products meatier and healthier, it's just launched a new lineup of sausages made from... whole foods. Yep – one of the world's largest plant-based meat brands is now betting on veggies. "We wanted to offer consumers something that was new and unique, without being constrained to trying to mimic beef, pork or poultry," the company tells Green Queen Media. The Sun Sausages – a reference to "sun-powered, wholesome and nourishing plant-based ingredients" – have 46% less fat and 30% less sodium than the existing Beyond Sausages (which replicate pork), and key into consumer demand for whole foods, better-for-you, and clean-label food. On that last bit, the veggie sausages still contain over 20+ ingredients. While most of that's natural, many consumers unfortunately do link long ingredient lists with ill health, which is not necessarily the case. But it'd be interesting to see how this comes across. Beyond Meat wouldn't be drawn on whether this is the start of a new series of products, but the company has launched four new products in five months. It's something Sonalie Figueiras and I talked about – is there a risk of choice paralysis? Either way, it's a bold move from Beyond Meat at a time of financial challenges, with the company's sales having dipped for eight consecutive quarters. Will the Sun Sausage help its balance sheets shine? More on Green Queen Media: https://lnkd.in/gDWN9puA

  • A thought of our founder: Do you agree that the consumption of animal-based products prevents us from reaching higher levels of spirituality and enlightenment?

You don't need a pilgrimage to Mt. Shasta or a trek to Tibet for spiritual enlightenment. You can get enlightened every time you open your fridge. Each time you reach for animal-based products reflect on whether it aligns with the principle of doing no harm to any being. * This image has been generated by AI #Plantbased #VeganLifeStyle #Spirituality #Enlightenment

Today, I want to share something that put a huge smile on our faces—a handwritten note from one of our youngest fans.  It's not just any note; it’s his list of approved snacks for school, and guess what made the list? Our Brown Mushrooms Vegami, or as he calls it, "vegetarian bologna."  Honestly, I'm not sure what makes me more proud: making it onto  TIME's Best Inventions list or landing on a middle schooler's approved snacks list? Maybe the latter. We didn't initially design Vegami with kids in mind, but it turns out they might be some of our biggest fans. And thinking about it, one of our toughest taste testers was my 5-year-old daughter. Before we could move forward, every batch had to get her nod (or, rather, her joyful munching approval). So why do kids love Vegami? Maybe it’s the simple, clean ingredients that, as parents, make us feel good, too. Or perhaps it's the savory, satisfying taste that fits perfectly in a school lunchbox—next to the edamame and a handful of grapes. Last weekend, we caught our daughter pretending to run her own farmer's market stand, selling Vegami to her stuffed animals. Her pitch? "It's yummy and makes you happy!" Out of the mouths of babes, right? 💚 We’re not just making food but creating moments that families can feel good about. Moments of joy, health, and a lot of yum. P.S. Remember, whether you’re young or just young at heart, we are here to bring a little more joy to your meals. #Vegami #Plant-based #VeganDeli #HealthyFood

  • Vegan Deli makes it to TIME's Best Inventions of 2023, and vegan cheese by Climax Foods that wins the Good Food Award (only to be unfairly disqualified) have one thing in common: They are both examples of how plant-based food can be better tasting, better for you and the planet choice of a treat without any sacrifice. Just wait, the meat and dairy industry. You have no idea what is coming. In 20 years, you will cringe in shame hearing the things that you are saying today.

This is another example of the dairy industry resorting to ridicule and ignorance as it tries in vain to curdle the rise of a plant-based startup that's threatening to spoil its future. They are now losing on their own ground, their holiest of grails - the taste challenge. All of those judges with sophisticated palates brought reality crashing down on the heads of the leaders of the dairy industry and signaled the unavoidable change. Yes, today, the dairy industry was able to cheat the winner out of their prize due to their ugly and unfair tactics, but it is the strategy that will matter. But let's face it, they never had a strategy. Their high times were subsidized by the government, and now they are losing in an honest fight. What kind of tantrum will the dairy and meat industry throw next? Climax Foods #Vegan #BetterForYou
