🎉 Home for the Holidays: A Heartwarming Milestone 🎄 On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, GrantWorks celebrated a momentous occasion with the Ramirez family during a Key Hand-Off Event in #BrazoriaCounty after just 40 days of construction! For 32 years, the Ramirez family called their house home until severe damage rendered it unlivable. In just 32 minutes, their old house was taken down, making way for a safe, resilient new home through FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. The finalization of this project and timing of the event, fittingly named “Home for the Holidays,” ensured the Ramirez family could move into their new home just in time for Thanksgiving. This transformation was made possible by the incredible partnership between GrantWorks, Brazoria County, and the Texas Division of Emergency Management. FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant program is dedicated to rebuilding homes that will withstand future storms, ensuring safety and resilience for families in need. With urgency, empathy, and unwavering drive, our team is proud to support families like the Ramirezes in building a brighter and safer future. 💙🏡 #TheGrantWorksWay #GrantWorksCares #HomeForTheHolidays #FEMAHazardMitigation #ReconstructionProject #CommunityResilience #SafeHomes #FutureForward

We'd like to thank Tracey Graham, ARPA Project Manager, for once again volunteering with the Junior League of Collin County for their “Neath the Wreath” fundraiser. As the largest fundraiser for the Junior League of Collin County, their Neath the Wreath event has raised over $5.4 million in the last 29 years to give back through educational programs, community projects, and other initiatives that benefit families throughout Collin County. Thank you, Tracey, for giving back to your community this holiday season and embodying #TheGrantWorksWay #WeAreGrantWorks #GrantWorksCares #Volunteers #VolunteerEffort #GivingBack #SeasonofGiving #JuniorLeague #NeaththeWreath
