This past weekend at Milam Park, we joined SAMMinistries to honor and remember those in Bexar County who tragically lost their lives while experiencing homelessness this year. Hundreds of pairs of shoes, generously supplied by our Goodwill donors, were placed throughout the park—serving as a poignant tribute and a powerful reminder of the lives lost. 🕯️ #Goodwill #GoodwillSanAntonio #SAMMinistries

Meet Rachel! 👋💙 Rachel joined Goodwill San Antonio five years ago, starting a new chapter after her military family relocated to Texas. As a Senior Administrator in our Donated Goods Retail Operations division, Rachel is often the first face people see when they walk through our doors. She sets the tone and provides assistance for their journey, whether they’re looking for a job, training, or volunteer opportunities. This year, she was honored with the prestigious Goodwill Going Above Award for being a driving force behind team-building events like the Taste of Goodwill, which fosters connection and celebrates achievements across our stores! We are saddened to hear of the passing of local artist Elizabeth Rodriguez. Rodriguez was integral to the creation of the Chapa Lion mural outside our Downtown Commerce store having painted and glazed each tile by hand.
