#ProjectUpdate | Our hardworking team, led by Foremen Bobby Loggins and Tim Hanning, alongside crew members Eric Howell and Dominick Custodio, has been making great strides at the new Sussex Technical High School site in Georgetown, DE. Partnering with Nickle Electrical Companies, GFP is proud to tackle critical sitework, including excavation, concrete-encased duct banks, and light pole bases. The state-of-the-art facility, designed by ABHA Architects | BSA+A with Richard Y. Johnson & Son Inc. as general contractor, is expected to be completed by 2027. #ProjectUpdate | Kudos to Tim Holland and his crew—Travis Hawkins, Brandon Roark, and Josh Steele—for successfully completing another impressive project! This time, the team delivered outstanding results at Graver Technologies, LLC, a leader in innovative filtration, separation, and purification solutions for industrial, commercial, and critical applications. The project involved replacing an insufficient foundation with a thicker, more robust foundation to support new equipment. Over the course of three months, the crew skillfully navigated 10 structural drawing revisions and an expanded project scope, all while staying on schedule and meeting Graver’s project deadline. #ProjectUpdate | Project complete! This month, GFP successfully wrapped up its work at Stepan, a leading global supplier of specialty and intermediate chemicals. Led by Kurtis Sternes and his crew, Dylan Gilbert, Reggie Rhoades, and Kurtis Sternes, Jr., our team added new containment pits and installed wastewater piping to enhance the plant’s infrastructure. While on-site, our skilled crew navigated unexpected underground challenges caused by the plant’s age and resolved design issues with their extensive field expertise. #ProjectUpdate | Our Project Manager, Robert Julian, stopped by for a site visit to check on the kick-off at Bostik, a world-class leader in sealing and bonding technologies. The scope of GFP’s work entails the construction and installation of an unloading containment pit at Bostik’s Paulsboro, NJ production plant. Here, Tim Holland’s crew discovered that the building did not have an adequate foundation; therefore, underpinning was required.
