Hello, August! This week we’re bringing you a *sweaty* week of wins… The 1st August saw another £75k (and £10k) Prize Savings Account winner. Keep an eye on our socials for the reaction video! BREAKING: Chip announces HUGE growth in 2023 and 2024 reports £15m OF REVENUE AND 800% YoY Growth Chip – Your wealth app. is an automatic savings and investment app founded in 2016 by Simon Rabin and Alex Latham. It’s one of the most crowdfunded businesses in Europe, having raised millions through several rounds on Crowdcube. In fact a whopping 30% of Chip’s shares are held by Crowdcube investors 🤯. The team at Chip have just released their 2023 annual report and their 2024 H1 report and both show SERIOUS growth! 2023 highlights: 🚀 £15.1m annual revenue (vs £1.7m in 2022) 🚀 800% YoY revenue growth  🚀 £3.2m of net losses (down 75% YoY) Since the end of 2023 Chip has continued to see insane growth. Here are the highlights from H1 2024: 🚀 £1.8m monthly revenue, up from £1.2m in January (£22m ARR) 🚀 £4.1bn AUM, up from £3.0bn in January 🚀 274k active customers, up from 218k Chip achieved profitability in the summer of 2023, although the company has since become loss-making again as it has been investing “in growth over more immediate profit, to continue expanding our user and asset base”. However, Chip is expecting to achieve monthly breakeven by the end of 2024! The company last raised money in November 2023 when it raised £5m through Crowdcube at a £170m valuation. We’re back with our weekly wins! It finally feels like summer is here and we’re loving it. Here’s a rundown of what went on behind the scenes at Chip HQ this week… We launched a fun giveaway on our page where one lucky winner could win a pair of limited edition Chip socks! Trust us, they are the most comfy socks you will *ever* put on your feet 🧦 On Wednesday the product team hosted our weekly Wednesday Wins lunch. Island Poke was the chosen spot, so we ordered a feast and talked all things product 🐟 We were joined by office dogs Alan and Saint this week. Unfortunately, they did not hit it off and Saint was taken home by 11am 😮💨 Lots of sunny afternoons were spent on the terrace in the sunshine. We love the view of the city out here! 🌞 It’s payday week! Simon decided to treat us to an early payday on Wednesday 💰 Happy Friday all!
