I’m so excited I had the opportunity to meet my mentee from Thrive Scholars in person! Galileo is invested in the fostering the next generation of thought leaders. They sponsor a few mentees each year! My mentee, Paola Vega is an incredible college freshman with aspirations to become a doctor. Today, we were able to get her Basic Life Support certification – a big step toward her goals! We are working on her resume and she is looking for roles in NYC to build her work experience! Mentoring is something very close to my heart. Many don’t know, but in elementary school, I was paired with a mentor who stayed with me all the way through high school. Jane Moran encouraged me to pursue the sciences, and her guidance sparked my enduring love for astronomy (fun fact) I’m incredibly grateful that Galileo participates in this program, and I’m proud to be a part of it. Please join me in sending well wishes to Paola as she wraps up her first semester of college! 🎉

Leaders from Aligned Marketplace, Galileo , and Centivo explored how APC addresses patient access, care quality, and provider experience under a value-based care model during recent EHIR Roundtables. For self-insured employers, APC offers significant savings and better health outcomes—without sacrificing employee choice. By reducing care fragmentation, APC creates a seamless pathway to drive both employer savings and patient care innovation. 📄 Dive deeper into the potential of APC: https://okt.to/tGf1xS #EHIR #AdvancedPrimaryCare #HealthcareInnovation #EmployerBenefits #PatientCare

Providing care virtually, in the community, and in-home allows us to reach broad and diverse populations. And sometimes, furry friends want to join in on the action, too. Our Maine providers enjoyed the extra company during a recent home visit! Photos: Hans Duvefelt, MD
