Thank you to The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi and its Four Winds Casinos for donating 1,000 Christmas Food Boxes to those in need. “The organization and delivery of these holiday meals is heartwarming for our team members. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those that received the meals and the support of several organizations that helped with the distribution,” Mary Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casinos. Our team enjoyed passing out holiday food boxes to the community Tuesday at the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Additional organizations assisting in the distribution were Feeding America Indiana in South Bend; Decatur Human Services in Decatur, Mich.; Marcellus Community Food Pantry in Marcellus, Mich.; Cooperating Ministries/Methodist Church in Hartford, Mich.; Action Ministry Center in Dowagiac, Mich.; Caring Connection in Benton Harbor, Mich.; and Lawrence United Methodist Church in Lawrence, Mich.

Yesterday our Four Winds Casino staff teamed up with Salvation Army in Benton Harbor, MI to distribute 300 holiday boxes to those in need. It was a great day in the community celebrating this Thanksgiving week. Additional recipient organizations included Decatur Human Services in Decatur; Marcellus Community Food Pantry in Marcellus; Cooperating Ministries/Methodist Church in Hartford; Action Ministry Center in Dowagiac; Caring Connection in Benton Harbor; Lawrence United Methodist Church in Lawrence, and Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Citizens.
