About us

The Fordham Angel Fund is Fordham University's own pre-seed/steed stage investment fund, dedicated to the university's student entrepreneurs. Operating under the Fordham Foundry, the fund hopes to further the goal of promoting and supporting the growth of an entrepreneurial community at Fordham through providing guidance, mentorship, and access to funding. The fund aims to both educate and empower student entrepreneurs by providing guidance and exposure to the real-world practices of an investment committee made up of an experienced group of venture capital professionals. The fund is also supported by a committee of fellows composed of undergraduate and graduate students who take part in sourcing and due diligence, providing an educational opportunity for those interested in venture investing. While the fund is industry-agnostic, it requires businesses to adhere to ESG criteria in support of the values of the Fordham community. By providing capital to worthy businesses that demonstrate these values, the fund hopes to support businesses that will come to positively benefit society as a whole. Additional offerings include legal consultation with ELC, free intern for your startup, and mentoring.
