I had a great experience at the Procurement Summit hosted by the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC)! This event brought together small business owners, supplier diversity advocates, and key decision-makers—all passionate about fostering growth and opportunities for minority businesses. It was such a pleasure meeting supplier diversity liaisons like Alysia Haygood, Carla Toles McKinney, and Ingrid Lamour-Thomas, MNM who were not only approachable but genuinely interested in engaging, sharing insights, and offering guidance. The focus on supplier diversity was inspiring, and it reaffirmed the importance of creating inclusive spaces where businesses like mine can thrive. It was also great connecting with other business owners like Carlos Y. Quiñones, Kirk Gimenez, Steve Mohan and Charlene (Charley) Brooks.
