We are excited to announce that FC Renew has been selected by the DOE Office of Technology Transitions for Voucher Opportunity 4 (VO4) - Commercialization Support (EERE)! This past week, our CEO, Philip A Stuckey, served as a panelist at the Voucher Announcement and Roundtable hosted at UT Research Park at Cherokee Farm's Spark Innovation Center, where he shared that "the resources that are offered here in the Knoxville-Oak Ridge region of East Tennessee are allowing him to live a career dream". We also had the pleasure of showing the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) team (Vanessa Z Chan, Felipe B., and Emanuele Francesco Pecora) around our lab and welcoming visits from City of Knoxville's Mayor Indya Kincannon, Emily McCaul from the Office of Senator Bill Hagerty, and Tennessee Valley Authority's Miles Biggs. Voucher Opportunity 4 (VO4) - Commercialization Support (EERE) "provides market research, business plan, fundraising road-mapping (from both public and private sources), and other commercialization strategy assistance for companies who have received funding from DOE EERE research and development programs and have a functional technology prototype". Over the next few months, we look forward to working with our voucher provider, Strategic Analysis Incorporated, to explore opportunities for precious metal recovery and recycling in fuel cells and electrolyzers at the end of their life cycle in support of our U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) SBIR/STTR Programs Phase I award.
