The opening of the Winter Emergency Overflow Shelter has been delayed until after the new year because of water damage to the facility. A water pipe burst causing a significant amount of damage. We continue to work with our partners to provide shelter to those who need it during the coldest months. We still are seeking supplies for the shelter. They can be dropped off at our Day Center 139 E North Street Waukesha on Wednesday, December 11 between 9am- noon. https://lnkd.in/gi3u6wbu

What more would any parent want than for their child to have a place to call home? The mom who shared this with us spent two months in a car with her 2 daughters. She did everything she could to keep it hidden. You can help families secure what they need most: a home. https://lnkd.in/gH45R-nC #givingtuesday #aplacetocallhome #waukeshacounty
