As part of the Think, Learn, Create Change program, @Boys & Girls Club of Milford advocated for environmental education. Lilliany and her fellow Club members set out to save their beach community’s eroding coastline by installing new salt marshes to create a living shoreline that is healing their environment. On Monday, we recognized our veterans and their families at our annual Veterans Day 🎖️ ceremony at our corporate headquarters. This included a veteran march, a color guard flag-raising 🇺🇸 presentation by the U.S. Marine Corps, and a recognition breakfast hosted by our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging team and VETS Associate Resource Group. In addition, specially commissioned Dollar Tree and Family Dollar challenge coins, which have a rich history in the military and symbolize camaraderie, honor, and recognition, are being distributed to all of our veteran associates. We hope these coins serve as a reminder of our appreciation and respect for their service.
