#FCPSTeacherTuesday “I joined the teaching profession because I have a passion for education and learning and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. There is immense joy derived from interacting with the students we serve, understanding their perspectives, and guiding them through challenges. Additionally, I had teachers who inspired me to enter the teaching profession because of their huge impact on my educational journey. I truly believe teachers have a lifelong impact on the students they serve.” Andrew Hahn Career & Transition Teacher Davis Career Center If you'd like to join the #FCPSFam and become a teacher with FCPS, apply now! https://bit.ly/3DtIspG

#FCPSTeacherTuesday “Seven years ago, I joined FCPS as an IA and enjoyed working with students with special needs. I worked full-time and took classes after work to get my teaching degree. It was worth it because as a second-year teacher, I am happy with the career decision I made. Building relationships with the students and their families has really been a great experience."
