About us
The EBIT Faculty House is an integral part of the Student Representative Council and serves as a bridge between students and the faculty. With a membership of approximately 16,000 students, it is one of the largest Faculty Houses in the University of Pretoria, established in August 2009. The EBIT Faculty House provides opportunities for students to enhance their academic, professional, and personal development through a variety of programs and events. The organization coordinates social and educational activities designed to empower, engage, and network students. Additionally, the Faculty House plays a role in community engagement and oversees the administration and organization of sports teams. The Faculty House is governed by a committee of 12 EBIT students, ensuring a student-centered approach to decision-making and operations. As an EBIT student, membership to the Faculty House is automatic, providing access to its resources and opportunities. We are committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for its members and advancing the interests of the EBIT student community.
