We’re thrilled to celebrate Piers Cumberlege, a remarkable leader who is delivering his 31st ExperienceChangeⓇ workshop today, officially reaching more than 1,400 participants since 2020. With a career spanning sectors, disciplines and continents—from Asia to Africa—Piers has seen firsthand the complexities of change. He brings this wealth of experience to every program he leads as an adjunct professor at HEC Paris and Variations International. Beyond his professional achievements, Piers is a passionate advocate for civil society. His leadership roles with organizations like CARE Canada and WEConnect International reflect his deep commitment to addressing global challenges with empathy. Here’s a fun fact: In 2013, Piers was honored with the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for his contributions to international development. Piers, thank you for bringing your heart and expertise to every ExperienceChangeⓇ workshop you deliver. We’re proud to celebrate your journey and share your story with our global network. Congratulations! Great photos courtesy of Catherine Tanneau, CEO of Variations International and Adjunct Professor of Leadership HEC Paris

Want to know if someone’s a good leader? Take a closer look at how they use AI. During our November webinar, Jackie Yao shared an insight that resonated with us: there’s a strong connection between effective leadership and the ability to use AI well. As Jackie put it, “Good leaders should be able to define your expectations clearly and give feedback to your colleagues.” The same principle applies to effective AI prompting—clarity and direction are key. If you’d like to hear more from Jackie, check out our latest EP Talks recording here: https://lnkd.in/ecnTSj2j

Recognize these professionals? For this #ThrowBackThursday, we’re rewinding to 2007—a time when ExperiencePoint literally leaned on exposed brick and a team of just 10 people. We’ve grown a lot since then, but some principles remain the same—like the philosophy behind our simulations: Drive behavior change, not just learning. Curious how this perspective shapes our leadership development? Check out our latest blog post: https://lnkd.in/eDUERAtY

The surest path to success is to fail. Today, we’re recognizing someone who champions this philosophy—our incredible partner, Colin Hunter. Since 2014, Colin has officially delivered more than 50 ExperiencePoint workshops and inspired more than a thousand learners along the way. As the CEO of PotentialSquared International, Colin has spent his career inspiring leaders and teams to step out of their comfort zones. Through his work, he has crafted exceptional experiences that challenge people to think differently and embrace learning through trial and error. But Colin doesn’t just teach this approach—he lives it. When writing his book “Be More Wrong,” he embraced design thinking to navigate a difficult writing process. By practicing what he preaches, he turned the four-year challenge into a meaningful opportunity for growth. Congratulations on reaching this milestone, Colin! P.S. Fun fact: Colin is a big fan of the hero’s journey—a cornerstone of his leadership philosophy—and his favorite book is “The Lord of the Rings.” Last we heard, he’d read it more than 11 times by age 13. We’d love to know the updated count now! #FacilitatorCommunity #MilestoneCelebration #EPFacilitatorMilestone

We were deeply impressed by the dedication of these healthcare professionals as they worked together to problem-solve critical challenges on behalf of vulnerable communities. Over the course of two days, their collaboration and commitment led to meaningful progress and we look forward to seeing the impact of their learning.
Change starts with collaboration, creativity, and a willingness to step outside our comfort zones. At our recent Acceleration Workshop conducted by @ExperiencePoint, we came together as a team of changemakers, community care workers, physicians, and OHT leaders working together to explore new ways to tackle challenges in West Toronto. We brainstormed till the walls were filled with our ideas, put our assumptions to test on the streets of Toronto, reflected on our learnings, taking steps toward designing human-centered solutions. These behind-the-scenes efforts are the foundation of the impact we strive to create. Here’s to doing even better in 2025. Together, we can make a difference. 💡 #InnovationInAction #WestTorontoOHT #DesignThinking #CommunityCare #HealthInnovation

What do business leaders and pilots have in common? ✈ Both need essential skills. ✈ Both must adapt when challenges arise. ✈ And both guide others toward new destinations—whether they’re navigating 40,000 feet of open air or 4 months of organizational change. Yet, only one is required to do practical training before taking off. Discover why leaders need simulations just as much as pilots in this month's article: https://lnkd.in/eDUERAtY

Here's a lovely little 6-word story to start your Friday off right! Thank you, Elian, for sharing these photos and congratulations on completing ExperienceInnovation™ Learn!
🌳 "Among Sequoias, acorns dream of heights." 🌳 This was my '6-word story', crafted during a Design Thinking and Creativity certification exercise (by Tecnológico de Monterrey's Innovation Masters Program + IDEO + ExperiencePoint). The challenge? Capture a big moment in a tiny tale. Reflecting on this, I couldn't help but think of the towering leaders and colleagues who have shaped my journey—those sharp empaths, brilliant strategists, relentless innovators, and fearless owners of their work. Each of you has been a Sequoia in my forest, inspiring me to grow and reach higher. While acorns may grow into Oaks rather than Sequoias, each tree has its purpose, its heights to aspire to. Here's to continuing to look upward, dreaming boldly, and nurturing growth in ourselves and others. Thank you for inspiring me to dream of new heights. 🌟
