In most sports, you get immediate feedback, allowing you to refine your techniques quickly through repeated practice. Mineral exploration is different. You don’t get the benefit of thousands of repetitions. It’s a highly abstract process where most trial and error must be conceptual. Most geologists never experience a Tier 1 discovery. Equivest Metals is proud to announce its selection for the BHP Xplor accelerator program. BHP Xplor, a 6-month program, focuses on helping early-stage mineral explorers like Equivest Metals fast-track and de-risk their geologic concepts to become investment ready. As a selected participant in the BHP Xplor accelerator program, Equivest Metals will receive: - Up to 500,000 USD in non-dilutive funding, - Access to commercial and technical coaching and expertise from BHP, and - Opportunities to pitch for follow-on funding or partnerships with BHP. Equivest Metals plans to deploy its innovative Mineral Exploration Data Platform, integrating advanced mineral systems models with machine learning and advance visualizations, for a mineral prospectivity study in the southern Africa region using data provided by BHP.
