Enppi participated in the 5th Edition of “Libya Energy Week” organized by the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and held for the first time in Egypt in the New Administrative Capital, during the period 3rd -5th December , 2024. The conference is considered one of the most important official Libyan platforms, that showcases the achievements, strategies, and future visions of Libya's energy sector, and highlights the NOC's plan to achieve a production rate of 2 million barrels per day by 2030. Enppi and Petrojet participated in the conference’s affiliated exhibition through a joint pavilion, where Enppi’s representatives had the opportunity to welcome visitors from Libyan and global energy companies and introduced its capabilities and experience in the oil, gas and petrochemicals as well as energy transition, sustainability, and training. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Enppi’s team held a number of insightful meetings with executives and representatives from the Libyian and global energy companies to explore opportunities and new areas of cooperation in various potential projects, and energy fields. Moreover, Enppi’s team attended a number of panel discussions and presentations during the 3 days of the event. On November 21st, 2024, Enppi held its annual celebration to honor the academically outstanding children of employees at various educational levels for the academic year 2023/2024. It is with great pleasure that we announce a significant achievement for our company as The Middle East Economic Digest (MEED) awards Enppi the “Highly Commended Energy Project of the Year” for the outstanding work on the MIDOR Refinery Expansion. This recognition was announced during the MEED Projects Awards 2024 ceremony, held on November 20 in Dubai, UAE, for Enppi’s role as the EPC Contractor in the MIDOR Refinery Expansion Project. This prestigious award acknowledges outstanding projects in the energy sector that prioritize innovation, sustainability, and a positive societal impact. Enppi as the EPC contractor in the MIDOR Refinery Expansion Project contributed to boosting the local production of petroleum products, raising the operational refining capacity of MIDOR Refinery by 60% to reach 160,000 b/d, reducing import costs, and limiting foreign expenditure. Enppi hosted Dr. Alaa Awad; HR Specialist & Institutional Development who is the first to introduce the concept of Job Psychological Engineering in Egypt. Dr. Alaa gave a lecture that shed light on the psychological impact on the workplace and its pivotal role in enhancing productivity and achieving work-life balance. Dr. Alaa reviewed the up-to-date techniques to create connectivity among employees and discussed the importance of effective management in promoting workplace safety, in addition to the know-how to exploit self-knowledge, improve performance and motivate personnel for the sake of achieving organization objectives. It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Randa Esmat; HR Division General Manager, gave an introductory lecture on Enppi’s role to attract calibers and top talented personnel. Mrs. Randa also discussed the surrounding challenges facing the current market economies and presented effective recruitment strategies to hire prominent candidates. Enppi, in partnership with OAPEC, hosted the "Global Trends in Energy Efficiency" training program from November 4-6, 2024, at its Cairo headquarters. On the sidelines of ADIPEC 2024, Eng. Wael Lotfy Moustafa, Enppi Chairman and CEO has welcomed the delegation from Honeywell at the company’s booth in the exhibition, where the two companies signed an MOU that aims to advance Egypt's national sustainability objectives of reducing the Carbon Intensity and Green House Gas (GHG) emissions. Eng. Chahira M.Taymour, Assistant General Manager from Enppi Project Management Division - in cooperation with Dr. Eng. Mohamed El-Najjar from Cargas presented a research paper titled: “Hydrogen Storage and Transportation ”.The paper reviews different ways of handling & transportation of Hydrogen in different phases, both gaseous and liquid.
