Last week, some of our Dallas-based employees volunteered with the S.M. Wright Foundation. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, our volunteers packed and distributed meals to low-income and homeless families in South Dallas, helping support more than 3,000 families at the special event. We are happy to partner with such a wonderful organization locally that helps those in need have a hot meal and groceries during the holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving! Natural gas and oil help make our holidays safer, easier and more accessible, while energy pipelines connect us to the petroleum products we rely on for fueling our vehicles, heating our homes and cooking our food. The industry also plays a key role in getting Thanksgiving food to the table -- from fertilizer and irrigation, to harvesting, freezing and shipping. From all of us at Energy Transfer, we wish you and your family a safe, healthy and happy #Thanksgiving.

Our local operations team in New Mexico recently visited The Church On The Move to donate $10,000 to assist with flood response efforts in Roswell. Deadly flash floods ripped through Roswell in October, washing away cars, submerging buildings and leaving much of the city under a layer of silt. First responders performed more than 300 water rescues as the deluge dumped almost 6 inches of rain, a record for a single weather event in Roswell.

Throughout each semester, our Houston employees volunteer at @yellowstoneschoolshtx to host fun lunchtime reading activities. Recently, our volunteers read with the class and helped with an activity to celebrate their chosen book, "Dragons Love Tacos". What a joy it is spending time with these young students. We love our second graders at Yellowstone and can't wait to watch them grow as we follow them through their elementary school journey. Energy Transfer started with this group in Kindergarten as a grade-level partner, and we will continue to sponsor these kiddos until they graduate high school.

Our $100,000 donation will support The Salvation Army mobile feeding units and disaster workers from across the country that are deploying to impacted areas to provide food, drinks, emergency supplies and to provide emotional and spiritual care to survivors and rescue workers. Press release: https://lnkd.in/gbM_nJbS Disasters can hit any place at any time. That's why Energy Transfer donates more than $600,000 annually to disaster response programs with multiple nonprofit organizations.

Do you listen to podcasts or radio? We're debuting a new set of audio spots! Oil and gas drive our economy, ensure our country's security, and open pathways to brighter futures. Did you know the first oil well was drilled almost 1700 years ago? Centuries later, the first American well was drilled in Pennsylvania in 1859, and the Texas oil boom began in 1901 when the Lucas Gusher produced an astonishing geyser that flowed for nine days.
