About us
Research finds that 8% of employees contribute to 80% of a company’s security incidents. Amplifying the problem, there’s no reliable method to pinpoint these users in order to apply corrective security measures. Elevate Security solves this problem by helping identify ‘at-risk’ individuals and automating your response and safeguards. Elevate Security’s cloud-based platform ingests and aggregates data from across your enterprise to identify and score user risk based on real-world behaviors and attack history. Security teams use this intelligence to automate actions that drive measurable behavioral change; trigger conditional identity and access governance; and strengthen security operations controls. Elevate Security is trusted by leading enterprises in industries such as financial services, technology, healthcare, and more to get ahead of workforce risk and reduce the likelihood of a data breach. We often think of the C-suite as the primary target for social engineering attacks, but there might be other roles we're overlooking. 🤔 Recent, high-profile breaches suggest the help desk could be every company's major blind spot. The help desk deals with a lot of people every day. Threat actors see this as the perfect opportunity to slip through a company's defenses. The scariest part? All it really takes is a phone call. Read our article to learn more about how to safeguard your help desk from social engineering attacks: https://hubs.li/Q02f5jRd0 #socialengineering #phishing

Just over 20 years ago, a mass email was sent to unsuspecting people across the globe: "Kindly check the attached LOVELETTER coming from me" What would read as an obvious phishing attempt now yielded catastrophic results back then. Over 45 MILLION Windows PCs were expected to have been affected by the virus attached in the email. 🤯 We may think we've wisened up since then, but threat actors have upped their game. According to Splunk, 83% of businesses have fallen victim to a phishing attack, and only half of employees are able to define the term correctly. We have to be diligent in educating our most at-risk people from social engineering, and putting proactive controls in place to mitigate against that risk. Learn more by reading our article to recognize the most common tactics malicious hackers are using to get past your defenses. 👇 https://lnkd.in/ghqdSm7i #socialengineering #phishing #humanerror #humanrisk #humanelement

As we approach 2024, it's never a bad idea to refresh your security posture. 🔁 Year after year, we see that the human element is the leading cause of security incidents. We know our most vulnerable attack vector, so why haven't things changed? 🤔 It's because just 8% of users cause 80% of security incidents. Security teams may try to solve for the human element, but they're not tailoring their strategies to the people that matter the most. Is your security posture future-proofed for unintentional human error? Find out with our latest checklist. 👇 https://hubs.li/Q02dDdHx0 #humanerror #humanelement #insiderthreats #cybersecurity
