IKEA and other leaders in medium- and heavy-duty vehicle electrification are proving that transportation electrification isn't a sacrifice; EVs' lower operating and maintenance costs generate savings over time, allowing businesses to expand while bolstering American national and economic security.
This week, Tanja Dysli, IKEA U.S. Chief Supply Chain Officer, spoke at the Clean Trucks PA Route Zero Week event to highlight progress in zero-emission delivery and the role of federal funding in supporting electrification projects. With over 370 EV chargers installed at our stores and distribution centers across the U.S., and hundreds more planned – we’re committed to reducing emissions in transportation. The transition to zero-emission transportation is critical for tackling climate change and growing our business, but we can’t do it alone. We’re grateful to CALSTART, Navy Yard Philadelphia, and all the event partners for leading the way toward a cleaner, more sustainable world. Together, we’re making progress toward a brighter future for the many. Watch the Clean Trucks PA Route Zero Week event here: https://lnkd.in/eUJNWRnA
