In South Africa, EDC is partnering with the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation and the Centre for Mental Wellness and Leadership through the USAID Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity. This partnership will develop a Community of Practice and deliver trauma-informed capacity strengthening for implementing partners in South Africa, where trauma is a prevalent public health concern. The USAID Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity, implemented by EDC, supports marginalized and underrepresented groups by advancing inclusion, equity, and local organizational capacity around the world.
