While throwing an annual holiday party can be a good way to boost employee morale and show appreciation for your staff’s hard work, it can also put your company at risk for liability. Clink the link below to learn more about three key areas that, when handled inappropriately, can turn a fun, work-sponsored event into a potential lawsuit. https://lnkd.in/gb3gJv3z

Over the weekend, DMLC had the privilege of sponsoring the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento Area 60th Anniversary Gala! We had an incredible time attending the Gala and supporting their mission to empower young lives and foster lasting connections within our community. A huge thank you to BBBS for organizing such a wonderful event, and to all the volunteers and mentors who make a difference every day. We’re proud to stand with you in making a lasting, positive impact. A huge thank you also to local artist Whitney Lofrano for her generous donation of her beautiful art piece “WRAP, WALK, WOW” to the BBBS auction! 💙 #bbbsgsa #BBBS60thGala #BigBrothersBigSisters #WhitneyLofrano #CommunityImpact

Over the weekend, the Duggan McHugh team participated in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk to bring awareness and advocate for those battling leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. DMLC's own Katie A. Collins was also honored to be the Chairperson for the Light the Night Walk, Executive Challenge Chair, and one of the keynote speakers at the event! The walk started at Sutter Health Park, crossed the Tower Bridge, and looped back to the stadium. Red lanterns were carried by supporters, gold lanterns in memory of loved ones lost to cancer, and white lanterns by cancer survivors. #LightTheNight #LLS #HelpingKids #FightCancer

Duggan McHugh is participating in Light the Night Sacramento! Our very own Katie A. Collins is serving as this year's Walk Chair! With the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Light the Night is working to bring awareness and advocate for those with leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma. This year's honored hero is Vera, a 5-year-old who completed chemo last week! Below is a link to donate to this wonderful organization so we can all help continue the fight and fund research to develop safer, less toxic treatment options for children with cancer. https://lnkd.in/d4s3Y7Pi
