In our next episode of DCS In the Know, John Marschhausen, Ph.D. discusses how we have entered the planning phase for a significant addition to Scioto High School, funded by bond dollars approved as part of the 2023 levy and bond issue. With an expected completion date of August 2026, the $50 million project will expand the school by 40,000 to 60,000 square feet, creating new academic and meeting spaces to accommodate as many as 500-700 additional students. Dozens of our middle school students participated in FBI Camp (Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) last week here at Emerald Campus. Students heard presentations from experts in cyber security and special assignments, and were able to try out skills through role-playing. Almost a dozen jobs were represented at a mini-career fair staffed by FBI employees. #AlwaysGrowingDCS 👮♀️ 👮
