✅Tip Tuesday: Don’t just talk about it. Do something about it. 👉🏾Lately, I’ve noticed a recurring theme in conversations: I’m so tired. I just need a break. 👉🏾If this sounds like you, I want you to hear this loud and clear: It’s okay to feel that way, and it’s okay to do something about it. ✅Action Step: Don’t just talk about how tired you are, take action. 💤 Rest: because you deserve it. 💭 Reflect: what do you need most right now? 💡 Rejuvenate: find what restores you, even if it’s small. 🔄 Reset:give yourself the chance to start fresh. ❤️You’ve earned it. Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is hit pause. Take that “grown-up time out” and let yourself breathe. #TipTuesday #leadership #leadershipcoach #executivecoach

✅Happy Tip Tuesday: Don’t Down Play The Power of These Three words - HOW CAN I HELP? 👉🏾This week, let’s talk about the power of connection in the workplace, especially between colleagues and supervisors. 👉🏾We often get caught up in tasks, targets, and deadlines, but it's essential to remember that the people around us are human first. 👉🏾How often do you take a moment to check in with your team or colleagues, or even your supervisor? 👉🏾Life doesn’t stop when we step into the office. 👉🏾Everyone has their moments where they might need support or just a reminder that they’re seen. So, how can we help? ✅Action Steps: 1️⃣Don’t just focus on the work; focus on the people. 2️⃣Offering a simple “How can I help?” can create a ripple effect, making your work environment more supportive, empathetic, and stronger. 🔥This week’s tip: Remember, we are all people before we are employees. #TipTuesday #leadership #leadershipcoach #executivecoach

I’ve been there—holding back from making a change because I wanted it to be perfect. But here’s the reality: The move you’re scared to make could be the one that changes everything. It’s not about getting it perfect. It’s about making the change you need for yourself. This week’s step: Identify one change you've been avoiding. It doesn’t have to be perfect—just take that first step. You’ve got everything you need inside you to make it happen. You don’t need all the answers; you just need the courage to act.

✅Happy Tip Tuesday: Stop Letting Pride Hold You Back 👉🏾Why do we let pride stand in the way of asking for help when it could make things so much easier? 👉🏾I get it. For years, I was in the same boat, thinking I had to figure it all out on my own. 👉🏾I was too afraid to admit that I needed support. But here’s the truth: asking for help is far more efficient. 👉🏾Why waste time trying to solve everything yourself when someone else may already have the answers or resources you need? ✅Action Step: 1️⃣Identify one area where you've been holding back because of pride or fear of asking for help. 2️⃣Reach out to someone who can offer support or guidance today. 3️⃣Taking this first step can unlock what you need to move forward. 🔥This week’s tip: Stop letting pride hold you back. Don’t waste time trying to do it all alone. 🔥Ask for what you need, seek support, and move forward faster. You only have one life, don’t let pride waste your time! ✅If you want to hear more tips like this, follow me at DoBetterwithDebra. #TipTuesday #SelfReflection #leadership #leadershipcoach #executivecoach #motivation

👉🏾 As women of color in leadership, we continuously face challenges that push our limits. But it’s in these tough moments that we tap into our deepest strength. 👉🏾 In every challenge, we call on our inner resilience, overcoming self-doubt with belief in ourselves and the power of our unique experiences. 👉🏾 Your voice, vision, and leadership are powerful. ✅ This week’s step: 1️⃣ Reflect on an area where self-doubt has held you back in your leadership journey. 2️⃣ Acknowledge the resilience you've already demonstrated in navigating obstacles. 3️⃣ Remember, you are fully equipped to handle whatever comes next. 4️⃣ Trust your ability to lead, regardless of the challenges ahead. ❤️ Remember: The resilience you need is already inside you. Keep moving forward with confidence, and continue to lead with purpose. #MotivationMonday #Resilience #WomenOfColorInLeadership #Leadership #Executivecoaching #Leadershipcoaching

✅Tip Tuesday: This week, I want to talk about the power of advocacy. 👉🏾Sometimes, we hesitate to ask for what we truly deserve—whether it's a raise, recognition, or support. 👉🏾But here’s the truth: advocating for yourself is necessary and powerful. This week’s tip is twofold: 1️⃣ Advocate for yourself. Don't hold back. If you feel you're doing extra work or deserve more, speak up. You have every right to ask for what you’ve earned. 2️⃣ Advocate for others. When a colleague stands up for themselves, back them up. Stand together. The strength of a team that supports each other is unstoppable. ✅It’s vital to stand firm in your own worth, but it’s equally important to show up for the people around you. #TipTuesday #SelfReflection #leadership #leadershipcoach #executivecoach

Here’s a secret I wish I knew sooner: putting yourself first is everything. ⏩Many of us weren’t taught this. We’ve spent a lifetime putting others’ needs before our own. But here’s the thing—it’s YOUR season. It’s OUR time. 💪🏾What I’ve gained by putting myself first? More energy, clarity, the ability to set clear boundaries, and the confidence to be my best self. ✅Now, it’s your turn. 🔥Choose one thing today that’s just for you. It could be saying no to something that drains you or taking a moment to center yourself.

✅Tip Tuesday: Don’t Push Down Your Feelings – Feel and Express Them! 👉🏾I’ve been reflecting on moments in my life when I felt shocked, disappointed, or gutted. 👉🏾In the past, my go-to was always to push those feelings down, to keep moving forward, and not deal with them. But this time, I’ve learned something different. 👉🏾What if, instead of burying those emotions, we let ourselves feel them fully? 👉🏾Last week, I found unexpected community simply by expressing how I was feeling. 👉🏾It was a powerful reminder that there are others who are going through the same thing, and by sharing, we create a space to heal together. This week’s step: 1️⃣Don’t suppress your emotions. 2️⃣Take the time to acknowledge and express them. 3️⃣Reach out and find your community—whether it’s friends, colleagues, or support groups. ✅It’s okay to lean into your feelings and find strength in shared experiences. ✅Happy Tip Tuesday!
