At DISCOVERY Children's Museum, we believe that an investment in our kids is an investment in the future. That's why every dollar donated to our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is an investment into putting Southern Nevada’s kids at the heart of all that we do. From hands-on learning exhibits to early childhood literacy activities to programs that get kids thinking about what they will be when they grow up, the Museum is a place where the dreams of our children take flight! Your donation—whether big or small—will make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in Southern Nevada and beyond. It supports our mission to ignite a lifelong love of learning by fostering a welcoming, vibrant, and inclusive environment where all are invited to engage in playful and educational experiences. You can make a Year End Gift from your IRA to support the Museum! If you are 70½ or older, you can give any amount up to $105,000 from your IRA to DISCOVERY Children’s Museum. The great thing about these gifts is that you will not pay income taxes on the transfer. If you are required to take minimum distributions, you can use your gift to satisfy all or part of your obligation. Your IRA administrator must remove the funds from your account by Dec. 31 for your donation to qualify for this year.
