🚀 A few months ago, I took a leap of faith. I signed up for the Google AI Hackathon. (15,000+ participants. First time for me. Not a developer. The odds? Slim.) It started with a random scroll through LinkedIn. I saw the hackathon and thought: “𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕? 𝑨𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕, 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊 𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍.” Here’s the thing about impulses: they’re fleeting bursts of energy. They have the highest probability to drive action the moment they appear. So, I followed mine. I signed up. No plan. No expectations. Initially, I wasn’t planning to actually participate. My real goal? 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊. But there was a catch: to get access, I needed to actually participate. So, I quickly filled out some details and honestly forgot about it. Then, out of nowhere, a cold email landed in my inbox. Someone else, driven by their impulse, reached out to collaborate. We teamed up, brainstormed, and built LeadSeeker - a solution to help businesses find leads online using AI. And here’s the wild part: Among almost 1,000 projects, we won the "Most Valuable for Business" category. It’s surreal to think this all started with a simple impulse - on both ends. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚? Pay attention to your impulses. They’re cues to act. Low-probability outcomes can happen when you take a chance. Big thanks to Google and Devpost for organizing such an incredible event. 👉 Learn more about our project here: "https://lnkd.in/efNR2BQh" And a huge shoutout to my collaborator, Jason Filby - this wouldn’t have been possible without you! Do you have an impulse you’ve been ignoring? It might be worth following today.
