This weekend, across four locations in Springfield, we’re distributing a total of 1,000 food boxes, each one packed with enough food to provide two weeks of nutritious meals for families in need, as part of our Sharing the Love Initiative. The annual event, which is a symbol of our commitment as an organization to giving back and uplifting lives in the Greater Washington area, has been months in the making as we worked alongside our partners to ensure an impactful effort. We have worked with food banks, soup kitchens, suppliers, and other partners to respond to the growing need for food assistance, providing essential food supplies to families in need.
